Tired Monday

It's alive!!

My company's new system is finally implemented today. Was at the client's site providing post implementation support since 7am this morning and got home at around 9.15pm. Tomorrow am going to work till 10pm... sigh. Two hokkien word "Pai Tan" (hard to earn)

When I got home I saw another parcel from LAF. They sent me another 10 wristbands because they made a mistake by sending the Adult ones when I have requested for a changed to Youth size before they ship out. Wonder if I should make another donation?

It's PAYDAY! This is the only day I look forward to every month then again, what's the point when the figure drops to a pathetic amount again after 3 days. I seriously need a higher paying job but I need papers to get me that. aarrrggghhh....

Hangover Sunday

wwwwooooo...... woke up this morning with a bad headache and a unwelcome sensation of wanting to puke. Not a good feeling. Tolerance level for alcohol seems to be dropping as my age increases. Maybe I should quit drinking.

It was a fun night out though. Went Sound Bar for a few drinks or should I say quite a few drinks as they are having one for one before 11pm then to Bar 84 for more red wine. Haven't had so much drinks for quite sometime. Bar 84 is definitely is a place to bring friends to. Not only the Japanese owner is friendly and funny, the place is also nicely decorated and they use crystal glasses.

Supposed to go back to work to see the users using the system in preparation for tomorrow's implementation but I don't even have the energy to go for a swim, not to mention going back to watch users use sysyem. Spent half a day sleeping away instead.

Tomorrow have to wake up early as we need to be at the client's place by 7am to support their operations. Oh my.... it has been a long time since I need to wake up so early.

LAF Livestrong wristbands

Yes! I finally got the Lance Armstrong wristband I ordered last December.
It cost me USD 10 for 10 wristbands and USD 11.50 for the shipping. Guess what's printed on the packaging of the wristbands.... Made in China

Today, couple of colleagues ask me how come I'm in FEMALE magazine. It's just a mug shot what's the big hoo-hah? It's not like as if I'm on the cover page or what. Maybe they are just surprise how this ugly ah pek end up in the magazine.

Went AMK for a farewell lunch for one of the colleague leaving next Thursday. Another colleague who was there also tendered his resignation and will be leaving in 2 weeks time. January seems to be the month where more people tendered their resignations. Guess most people leave after collecting their bonus.

I supposed to go SIM collect my course notes with a friend but forgot where I dump the letter for collection plus I end up working till 7pm. Looks like I might end up collecting them on Saturday instead.

My First Blog...

Today I was bored at work so I did a search on google for blog and found this so I decided to start my very own blog :D to express my thoughts from time to time.

Am going to leave office early today at 6pm. Work is work, social life is still a must! (My boss and some colleagues don't seems to have social life though)
Sometimes I think I have too much social life. That's the main reason for the emptiness of my bank account. SAD!

My former company is looking for staff and I'm in a dilemma of whether to join them again or not. Can't ignore the fact that I was retrenched from that very company 2.5 years ago. By going over, I am likely to get an increment but how much? If they willing to pay me $3000 a month....hehehe... it will sure tempt me to take the plunge. $3000 is not much you know. An old schoolmate of mine has past this mark 2 years ago, I'm very slow already!

Since this is my first blog, I just wish that 2005 will be a good year for me.

Not much in plan except for the fact that I will be going back to school again for my degree (FINALLY) Not that I want to but I have to (the pain of living in Singapore)
