Taxi sickness
have been taking cab almost everyday due to work. You might think "hey, got cab to bring you to and fro from work and you still want to complain?" Firstly I have to pay for the cab fare first which don't know when I will get reimburse, second some cabs I took has got a funny smell and it's really making me sick at times.
Channel showing a documentary on 1968's National Day parade. Those days no one move even with such heavy down pour. I wonder will we see the same scene IF there's a very heavy downpour this year. Maybe... Maybe not. :-)
Seems like back to army days...
New client located at Simei! It's like the opposite end of where I live. Everyday, traveling time alone is going to take me at least 30minutes by cab. I just hope that I can move out of this site as soon as possible. The amount of money spent on cab is going make me broke way before my next pay comes in.
Talking about cab fares, I have yet to receive my transportation claim for as far back as March. I made a calculation and it amount to an amazing sum of about $1,600. It's getting close to what I am getting every month which means I am working
FREE for a month really soon.

Took 3 years out of my life
Went Underwater Hockey last evening and it took 3 years out of my life. I can hear my heart beat reaching a 200 beats per minute rate. Towards the end of the game, I ended up with cramps in both legs. Sigh.. this really shows how unfit I am.
Gonna go for study group later. Time to work on my assignments again :-(
Its painful to be going back to school at the age of 30, so to those who are thinking about furthering your studies... DO IT NOW! that's of course, financially you are able to do so lah. I was kind of delayed by this and my laziness.
Picnic
Today went West Coast Park picnic with my 'old' friends. All in their 30s, one even brought her daughter along.
I don't mind the idea of picnic where each of us brought something to eat and drink but Singapore just don't seems to be a good place to have picnics. There's no nice shady place where we can sit and enjoy the afternoon without having to constantly shift our butts to avoid the blazing sun. Nevertheless, its a good weekend out. At least its something different.
I sucks with programming
FINALLY!! I submitted my programming assignment even though I know it's not complete and filled with errors.
Somehow I just can't think like a programmer, I don't know was it due to the fact that I don't have a foundation in programming or I just can't think in a programming logic way.
Took leave today specially to do my assignment and I didn't do it entirely on my own. I got some help from my colleague and friends.
Anyway, drained.... time to sleep.

Miss Zen
hehehe... finally got my Creative Zen and all I really need was a radio :P hahaha.. time to learn all about MP3.
I got home this morning at around 5am from work, yes 5am! Once again its a wasteful trip to Simei. Supposed to help with some data entry for testing but when we got there, they tested the script for mass data entry to be working. I can't understand why can't they test it first before deciding on whether were we required, instead of asking us to go all the way to Simei and do nothing but add cost to the project. Not only it's tiring, it disturbed my evening plans too!! I was to watch a movie with a friend and her female friend, while deciding on the time for the show, as I was supposed to be there at 6pm and work from there on. In such case, it would be reasonable to watch the 9ish show so we go ahead and booked the 9ish show.
Well, plan and reality often conflicts. Latest instruction was to go home and be back at work at 10pm. DAMN! I am screwed. How am I supposed to watch a 9ish show when I have to be back at work by 10pm :_(
Luckily I pressed on with my plan (well, I did try looking for a replacement) and it turns out that only after I got home from my movie at around 11.50pm I got a call to go down for work. Sigh... poor planning.
My plans are often 'disturbed' by my work.... not a good sign :p
Time is a factor
aaarrrrggghhh.... being trying to blog for the past few days, just couldn't find the time to do it.
It has been a busy week with plenty of 'dates' and work and I have yet to complete my school assignment which is due on the 10th this month :( I am in deep shit!
One thing to be happy about was that.... I got my bonus!!! YEAH!!! I seriously hope it will still be around by the next bonus. I sure have a serious over spending habit in urgent need to kick off. I just hope I can start saving for 'the future' ;)
I got to spend time for my studies but I have got 'dates' including classes, packed from Monday to Friday. I need time.. more time to nua and work slowly. aaaarrrrrggghhhhhh.......
