So many things to do.... so little time

Long time no blog...

Well.... nothing much to talk about anyway. Am still struggling with my Tutor Mark Assignments. Due 30th March and I have not started doing it. Another due 6th April and I have not even looked at the questions yet. Dead meat, I seriously have to get my act together about school.

2 more days to holiday.... Appraisal day

Today I reached office later than usual. I didn't woke up late, I didn't left home late but that stupid MRT was LATE!! It took me almost 30 minutes to get from Boon Lay to Jurong East. SMRT knows how to increase fare but don't know how to increase reliablity and frequency of their services.

This evening there will be a team BBQ initiated by a colleague who just left us. Don't think I will stay late as I really like to go home and watch Survivor Palau, furthermore I have not finish packing for my trip and tomorrow I got class from 2.30 to 5pm.

3 more days to holiday!

Yesterday watch Amazing Race 7 till 12am. Got friends who wonder why I watched programs like Survivor, The apprentice, Amazing race etc. Well, I like reality shows because it reflects the ugly side of human being unlike dramas which are friction shows. Characters, story line are all made up. Yes, the editors might have edited the show and show only the ugly side but then again, this has to happen in order for the producers to air it right?

Going to Riverwalk for dinner later.

An the Oscar goes to....

Yesterday was the day to award those who had outstanding performance on the big screen for last year and of course similar to our daily lives, not all who put in hard work gets the rewards, it depends on whether the judges (in our case, our bosses) likes what they see in us or not.
It's not a matter of how hard your work, it's when you work hard and who sees that.

Yesterday was also the day I goes back to school. Was kind of nervous seeing the size of the class and as I have conveniently forgotten to print out the handouts required, I was kind of lost in class even though it was elementary mathematics (something I have long returned to my secondary school mathematics teachers) Looks like I have to spend a significant amount of time on this subject to get my rusty brain working again.

I realize that the class consists of mostly people in their early twenties (at least that's how I sees it) wearing jeans, tee shirts and some in bermudas. Was expecting more working adults. Anyway, didn't get to have dinner till after class which was 10pm. Packed Hokkien mee from Clementi and went home to enjoy it while watching the little golden man being presented to happy new owners.
